It was a bitterly when my friends were coming back from a saturday night party.
The weather outside was really bad. It was snowing hard, and the roads were very slippery. All of
my friends were drunk except John. He doesn’t drink at all. He’s a really good student and cares
about his future, but he still hangs with them. He keeps his studying seperate from going to partys.
“Hey, Mark, where do you go right now because I don’t feel like going home?” John said.
“I don’t know, bro. Let’s just chill around this area for a bit then just crash at my house,”
Suddenly their car skidded and went down a ditch. John lost his control over the steering
wheel and it just kept going the other direction. Noone was there to help them out. It was 3 a.m
and the roads were empty. John tried to start his car but it wouldn’t. He kept trying for five
minutes. Then he gave up. It was so cold that outside they wouldn’t go outside and walk
somewhere else to find help. Elizebeths didn’t have her phone with her, and Mark lost his phone
while he was partying, and John’s phone lost its charge. They were in deep trouble now.

” Where are we?” asked Elizebeth.
” We’re stuck in a ditch, and the car won’t start, Elizebeth, I guess you should go back to
sleep because we might have to stay here the whole night,” said John.
“Are you crazy John?! I’m not going to stay in this car the whole night, its so cold out here,” said Mark.
“Aight then you go find some help then,” said John.
Mark walked about one mile and came back to the car. He couldn’t find any help, and he
was scared that he might get lost. He was drunk too. When Mark came back, John tried to start
the car again but it wouldn’t start. Mark and John then got out of the car, and they tried to pull the
car out of the ditch. It was so slippery that they couldn’t even move the car an inch.
“I guess we have to sleep in this car until the blizzard passes away and we find some
help,” said John.
“No, lets go together and find some help because its so cold here, and I might even get
frost bite because of that,” said Mark.
“Ok, then lets go,” said John.
Mark was about to wake Elizebeth up, but John told him not to. They didn’t find
any help, she were going to be awake, and she’d get on their nerves because she was drunk.
They walked really far from the car and finally they found some help. They walked about two
hours and found a person sitting in a car. They ran over there and asked him.
“Sir, can I use you’re phone please?” asked John.
“No you can’t because I don’t let any stranger use my phone”
He closed his window and just drove away. After ten or fifteen minutes John realized that
they were lost. They tried going back to the car, but they couldn’t find a way back. It was below 0
degrees outside Mark told John to rest for a while and try to recall where they parked the car.
They sat there for 15 minutes. Then Mark fingers started to burn. He looked at them, and he saw
that he got frostbite. He was blaming all that on John since he was the one who was driving. They
both fought because Mark was telling John to find the car and John won’t go, and John just

left from there without even taking Mark along. He let him go and didn’t say anything.
John was still worried about Mark because he was drunk and he got frost bite on his
fingers. He made him angry and that’s why he left. John went to the same place where Mark was
sitting after 10 minutes ago but no one was there. He searched for him all around the place, but
he couldn’t find him. Then John gave up and his now objective was to find his car first. He was
hungry and cold but he was still searching for his car. Suddenly, he saw a man smoking
a cigerrete and ran up to him.
“Can I please use you’re phone? It’s urgent!” asked John.
“What happened to you? What were you doing in th forest?”
“I lost my car, and I really need to call the police,” said John.
“Well I don’t have my phone with me I left it at my wifes house,”
“Ok, thank you,” said John and moved on.
It was around 5 A.M when John finally saw cars on the road. He also had a clue where he
was going. Then John saw his car which had a towing truck was taking it away. John ran after the
towing truck. Then John saw the same guy who was smoking the cig. He was standing by his car.
“Can you please follow the towing truck they’re taking my car away” John said.
They followed the truck to stop the truck. When the towing truck pulled
over, John ran to his car but didn’t see Elizibeth. She wasn’t in the car.
“Did you see a girl sitting in this car?” asked John.
“No sir this car was empty when I came to tow it” Said the truck driver.
Then John told him to take away the car. The guy who he followed the truck with and
John searched Elizibeth. They finally gave up after two hours. Then the tow driver dropped him off
at home to get some sleep and feed his stomach. When he woke up in the morning, he was
listening to the news. It said they found Mark and Elizibeth dead in a forest because of cold.
It is an outrage that crime has become so ha nous today. Innocent victims are simply by standard hurt for no reason. I was a witness to a senseless act of violence, a drive by. Since then, I question our government and our society. What makes a person want to kill another for absolutely no reason I remember the event as clearly as the day it happened. As my friends and I drove from club Area 51 to ...
John got angry at him self because he shouldn’t have left them alone. He was blaming
him self for all this. Then he just went to the towing company picked up his car, and came back
home. That was the worse day of his life. The wonderful day turned out to be the wose nightmare
of his life.
