True Colors
What is in a color? Is the appearance all that shows, or is there something more deep within the hues? Every color symbolizes something different in the world. Some colors stand for multiple things. Everyone has a personality, therefore everyone has
Red is a very warm color, standing for a variety of different things: anger, fire, warmth, and even impulsiveness. People with red personalities are strong and bold. They are outgoing, aggressive, and passionate about what it is that they do. To me, “red people” are often optimistic, and most of the time loud. Tending to have a lot of emotions inside, they are not afraid of showing them. These people are usually open to trying different and new things, and have a true adoration for life.
Quite different from red, some people are pink. “Pink people” tend to be very protective of their friends of family, almost having a motherly instinct. This color symbolizes love and great affection. “Pinks” like to feel loved and wanted, just as they treat others. They are very delicate, fragile people, so their feelings tend to be hurt very easily. These loving people tend to be very gentle, and strive to please others.
If a person is not bold enough to be red, they may be an “orange person.” Orange, which is similar to red, is a very bright, flamboyant color. They are also outgoing, and are extremely fun-loving. These people are usually fairly popular, they love and seek attention, and wherever they go they are always noticed. “Oranges” love to have fun, and have a great sense of humor. Orange is the color of youth, and often symbolizes fearlessness.
The Research paper on Color Colors Yellow Red
Research Paper Color is sensed when white light bounces off an object and is reflected into the eye. Objects appear different colors depending on what colors were absorbed and which were reflected. Color is 'seen' by the rods and cones in the eye. Cones detect color and rods detect black, white, and shades of gray. People who cannot see colors properly are colorblind. There are many different ...
An even more outgoing person would be a “yellow person.” Yellow symbolizes fun, extreme brightness, and relentlessness. This is the color of happiness and an extremely broad imagination. “Yellow people” usually have a sunny and defined personality. They tend to not want to answer to anyone, being their own person, and live a life full of freedom of thought and speech.
Falling between yellow and blue, green is a very neutral color. “Green people” tend to be very balanced, and tend to be harmonized with nature. They enjoy change and peace, and are gentle to their surroundings. These people are usually defined, clean people, who constantly fight for what they believe in. “Greens” are the opposite of selfish, always trying to help others. They have a very nonchalant way of life, and are full of curiosity.
Blue, similar to green, is a very soft, relaxing color. “Blue people” tend to be very quiet and shy. They are soothing, compassionate, and caring. Blue symbolizes patience and sensitivity. These people tend to keep to themselves, and are usually very faithful people. Blue is a calm and relaxing color, acting as ocean waves, and is very serene and beautiful.
Similarly, purple is a more bright and unique color. “Purple people” tend to be very courageous and funny. Tending to have a more artistic side, they know how to enjoy the small things in life. They have a great sense of sarcasm and humor, but at the same time can step up when a leader is needed. “Purple people” enjoy being leaders and holding authority positions. These people are truly original, and strive to do their best in everything they do. “Purples” have a very wide range of traits, but they are all truly unique.
While many people have colorful personalities, there are a handful of people who do not. “Gray people” tend to be very passive and do not have a tendency to voice their opinions, let alone have one. This is the color of hesitation. They are not completely sure of where they stand in the world, yet they want people to notice them. “Grays” tend to avoid confrontation, and are not very accepting to change. Sometimes, it seems as if they try to run from their problems and try to get by doing as little as possible. Most of the time, they hide their personalities, and are afraid of bringing them to the surface.
The Essay on The Color Purple Celie Shug Life
Celie s journey toward self-definition in The Color Purple, by Alice Walker, is filled with moments of growth as well as of tragedy and abuse. Throughout her life she is mistreated and put down. Similar, yet different than gray, black is a very bold color. People with black personalities are extremely mysterious and do not want to interact with people much. They tend to have hidden emotions that no one will ever know about. Sometimes, they are secretly longing for something that they cannot acquire without help, yet they want to be their own people so do not want to ask for help. Most all of the “blacks” have secret lives that they keep very quiet. Many people do not know much about these people because they are not the type of people to come up and start conversations.
Some people are colorful, some are darker, and then there is a certain group who is neither. White is the purest of all the colors. This is the symbol of innocence and clarity. Most of the time, these people are very naïve. They have a strong passion for perfection and being “fresh.” They tend to live very simple lives, yet at the same time make an everlasting impression on the world.
Whether someone is a bright, flamboyant color, or a dark, mysterious color, everyone has a completely different and unique personality than any other person in the world. Some people may be one specific color, some two, and some may have characteristics of each. No matter what “color” someone is, each and every person is special.
