There is no deny that the number of people choose to study abroad get better education. Though, some people believe that is all likelihood better to study at home rather than study abroad in some way, due to different culture to living and studying. For my angle, I reckon study abroad is better than study at home.
First of all, the subject which people choice study abroad that many academic subject is more advanced and brilliant in developed countries .It would be expand their outlook and better to learning some relevant knowledge. For example, as we know, in some Western countries, like Britain and America. The education in there is famous for good quality, reputation and available qualification. And also schooling will encourage the students to think critically and independent. It is an indispensable part of academic study. Genellary many course will do presentation and group work, good chance for everyone to participant practices themselves, more confidence and cooperation. The quotation of Robert Maynard Hutchins said “The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives.” The pulpous of education in western is like this. Therefore it should be benefit for their future career and fulfill their potential. The second reason for my propensity for study abroad means not only just study academic knowledge, but also could experience totally different culture, such as customs, rites, rituals and mores, etc. It is obvious that promote the cultural communication and interaction between different countries.

Therefore, study abroad is in the best interests of the people who want to learn foreign languages .They could get more opportunity to practice and communicate with native speaker that improve their language skills .Further, the extensive use of common language has a unifying effect on people who do not speak the same mother tongue. It has offered friendly environment for learner to study foreign languages, and getting better. For another, it enables people whose native tongue is not his /her first languages to appreciate the foreign cultures more efficiently and more fully.
It can be argued that study at home also have some advantages to some extent. First and foremost, for many students they do not need adapt to new lifestyle and avoid some touch issues when they study at their own country, it will be better for them to concentrate on their academic studies. More specifically, family and friends around you in your own country give you consolation and comfort when you get in trouble. Also unnecessary worry about how to get along with others whom from all over the world. In the second place, for some people whom unadult, they cannot distinguish between right and wrong some times, indiscrimination follows others misrepresented. If study in their own country, their parents could scrutinise and parenting, good for their mental healthy, as well as mutual understanding. In a nutshell , study abroad is really expensive for some students whom do not wealthy, they cannot afford the money for education fees. Moreover , study at their own country could save money for family and less economic burden.

On the other hand, despite these advantages for study at their own country, it also has some drawbacks as follows. The main one maybe they do not have chance to live alone without family and friends. They often lack of basic life skills, like cooking, gardening, they rely on their parents. On the second place, an apparent problem with this opinion is in developing countries or poverty countries, different education system between them and developed countries, students learn things by rote memorise for memorisation’s own sake, has peer pressure. Schooling always forces –feed approach to teaching. They do not have extra-curricular activities to relax their bodies and ease their minds, extinguish and not well-rounded development. However, the education in western country is generalist .Not only impart knowledge for students, but also give the students motivation to learn knowledge, give their thought and teach them how to be a qualified citizen in society. For instance, have a citizenship lessons in Britain for secondary school, do volunteer, punctual, honest, compassionate, etc. Like Aristotle said ‘’Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.’’ It is good way to well-rounded development.
In conclusion, people from different walks of life do not often see eye to eye with each other on such a heatedly-debated topic. If asked to make a choice, I would assent to the opinion that study abroad is better than study at their own country. It would be sensible to suggest that people whether study abroad to get education it all depends on their own situation .However, if u have adequate finance and competence, study abroad is an absolutely fabulous opportunity and an rich experience in everyone’s life.
