We think that it is very important for people to realize that different types of pollution such as water, air and land are not inconsequential of one other. The relationships among all living and non-living things in an environment make up an ecological system, known as the ecosystem. All the ecosystems of the earth are interdependent.

These pollutants are very detrimental to the environment. Whether they are alone or combined with another form of pollution they are very harmful. Air pollution is nothing new. It is the pressure within the air of one or more substances that are harmful to human health, welfare, animal or plant life, or property. However, there are some things the individual can control. Our waste reduction and recycling activities can make a difference. That’s why so many communities began voluntary recycling programs.
