Some people think that chilren should obey the rules and what their parents and teachers want them to do. Other people think that children who are controlled too much cannot deal with problems by themselves. Discuss both views and give your own opinions.
It has been a controversial topic for a long time with reference to wether children should grow up in the way of their teachers and parents want them to or in the way of their own without any restriction.
It is generally accepted that children should obey certain rules and principles to great extent both in family and in school. For one thing, children should be taught the basic ethnic codes by both parents and teachers. Some ethnic principles such as respect shown to others, loyalty to a community and a nation, pursuit career achievement and a sense of responsibility to family and society are the cornerstones of any society which need to be valued and encouraged. Only when children follow the guidance and training of standard moral and ethnic codes from their parents and teachers can they grow up to be a socially responsible individual with high moral values. For another, parents and teachers tend to have affluent knowledge and personal resource for children to draw on. If they could follow the advices and suggestions from their parents and teachers, the chances of making mistake or going astray could be much lower than their counterparts who refuse to obey the rules passed from their guardians and lecturers.

However, to what extent children should be controlled by parents and teachers remains a topic of great discussion. It is true that children will not be capable of dealing with changes and problems by themselves if they are over passive in their study and lives. Sensible mothers pave the way for the glorious successful future for their offspring, and this, in turn, can render most of children have no idea about the perspective of what they are going to do with their future and how, since they are growing up in the way their parents what them to . These children tend to be less independent and more likely to fail to cope with challenges and adapt to a new circumstances. Moreover, teachers are responsible for the children personality development as well as academic achievement.Admittedly, teachers play a pivotal role in the aspiration of their students’ potential talent and skills. Empirical evidences have shown that once children are granted the freedom to aspire their imagination and are not restricted too much in terms of academic rules, they are more likely to fulfill their task at an astonishing pace and lead to unexpected achievement.
My view is that children should obey certain rules and principles but should not be restricted too much. Parents and teachers need to seek for a balance between cultivating ruly students and creating an environment in which children can feel free to exploit.
