Hinduism and Buddhism Religion
Hinduism originated in South East Asia and was a Vedic religion. The making of Hinduism took some
adjustments evolving into the religion. There were two main Gods in this religion which were Vishnu
and Shiva. Vishnu was Benevolent God and Shiva was God of creation and destruction. There was a
multiplicity of Gods though. They displayed India’s cultural diversity but yet displayed India’s unity in
that all God’s were a single divine force.
The Buddhism religion is a religion against material things but it tells you to share if you are fortunate to
own material things and also if you do it tells you to not let those material things rule your life. This
religion wants you to achieve a natural happiness and it challenged old orders. It has an opposed
interest in social rank, and its social order and behaviors towards the government. Buddhism is spilt
into Mahayana and Theravada, Mahayana is the new school of Buddhism and Theravada is the old
school of Buddhism.
Gupta Empire is a small kingdom and is less centralized so their villages are more independent, this
empire focused on the Hinduism religion.
Mauryan Empire was a centralized government and were a large empire, they also thrived from trade.
