NO PASSION, NO LIFE
It would be impossible to discuss this without understanding what the word passion actually mean. Passion is the energy that comes from bringing more of YOU into what you do.
Towards life that simply means, living things and their activities to the fullest.
The question, however, have these concepts any relationship to each other?
Indeed. Passion is in most instances the driving force behind success in life. And success does not necessarily imply wealth as in money or the glitzy and shining things in life. Success can also be the achievement of personal goals in various facets of life.
Just refer to the recent Olympic Games in England. None of the competitors would have reach Olympic qualifying let alone a medal without be passionate about what they want to do and how they intend to achieve that. Passion is what drives these athletes in training and to stretch themselves to the limits on competition day.
Passionate people are also more creative in finding solutions for everyday problems in life. The average “couch potato” on the other side is more interest in what’s on television and will probably argue that he or she is happy and do not want more from life.
Really?
How can you make a difference to your and the lives of others by living a “dull” life without being passionate about something. How can you claim that you have an interesting and meaningful life without a special desire (passion) to achieve something in life? And this does not have to be something glamorous. Basic things such as cooking and gardening can be rewarding if done with passion

My view is that life without passion is no life. The quote by E. M. Forster summarise it beautifully, “One person with passion is better than forty people merely interested.”
