This book is called Percy Jackson and the Olympians the lighting thief the. the
author this book is Rick Riordan. Percy Jackson and the Olympians has 375 pages. The
number of words in this report is from 800 to 1000 words. The opening of the novel
began by
Percy (the main character) speaking to us telling us that he never wanted to be half blood,
which was his first problem. He then introduced him self as a dyslexic boy who also had
ADHD, and he was 12 years old. The setting took place in New York City, Percy was
sent to a boarding school for troubled kids. The beginning of the book was a good hook,
it really got the reader wondering what will happen next. The beginning of the book was
just a little bit of information of how the rest of the book would go. In my perspective it
was a very good start.
The main problem in the novel was that someone had stolen lord Zeus’s lighting
Bolt. The gods could not take ones positions from one another so it couldn’t have been
one of the gods. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are brothers and lately Poseidon and Zeus had
been fighting, so when the lighting bolt was taken he blamed Poseidon-Poseidon is the
father of Percy and since gods could not take others gods valuables then a half blood
The Essay on Worshipped As The God Zeus One Hephaestus
Greek Mythology Mythology was an integral part of the lives of all ancient peoples. The myths of Ancient Greece are the most familiar to us, for they are deeply entrenched in the consciousness of Western civilization. The myths were accounts of the lives of the deities whom the Greeks worshipped. The Greeks had many deities, including 12 principal ones, who lived on Mt. Olympus. The myths are all ...
would have no trouble doing it-. Zeus blamed Percy and swore if Percy didn’t return it
that he would start a war-in this book we are not to blame for our actions like war and
hunger, the gods are so according to the book ww1 & ww2 was caused by disputes
between the gods.- also would be known as ww3. It was up to Percy to accept the quest
from Chiron (a half human half horse teacher).
Chiron was on the contrary that Poseidon
had not taken the bolt but that Hades had so he sent Percy off to find the bolt and return it
to safety. with his quest would also go his best friend/protector Grover ( half goat half
man) and a girl named Annabeth -who was also a half blood daughter of a human man
and a goddess as a mother, her mother was Athena goddess of war fighting and wisdom
She was at camp half blood for seven years she had been waiting for seven years for “the
one“ to come-”the one“ was the name prophets gave Percy, they told Annabeth that he
would come and take her on a quest that would change her life- they when to search for
the blot, they had to retrieve it by the summer soloist-which was 14 days away– Percy,
Grover, and Annabeth crossed paths with some of the Monsters from the underworld,
they had to defend them self’s from demons from the Underworld, they had an encounter
with the demons in every state they were in. When they got to the underworld it turned
out that Hades had not taken the bolt because Hade’s helmet of darkness had been taken
away too. Percy escaped from the under world only to find out that his uncle Ares -god of
war- had taken both the helmet and bolt. Percy made a deal that if he beat his uncle in a
Duel that his uncle would have to give the items back to Percy and would have to leave
them alone. His uncle agreed to the deal. They both duled until Percy stabed his sord in to
The Term Paper on Mothers Day
When I was first asked to give a talk on mothers, since it would be mother’s day. I started wondering how Mother’s Day came to be. I was surprised to discover that Mother’s Day has a history longer than Christianity! Ancients celebrated Isis (Mother of the Pharaohs), Rhea (Greek Mother of the Gods), and Cybele (The Great Mother). The worship of these ancient goddesses is similar to the reverence ...
the ancle of his uncle and deafeted him. His uncle vanished leaving only the blot and
helmet behind. Percy saw a demon from the underworld and told it to take the helmet to
Hades and tell him what had happened and that it was all a misunderstanding. After he
Raced to take the bolt back. As soon as he enterd the big room filled with the gods he ran
right twards his father he was so pleased to see him and told him everything that had
happened and gave the bolt back to Zeus they did not understand why Ares would do that.
The main character in this book was Percy Jackson. He is a boy 5,5. He is 12, and
in 6th grade. In the book he describes him self as a tall boy with black hair and sea green
eyes (which is ironic considering the fact that he is the son of the god of the sea).
He also describes him self as a “troubled kid” although he is not. Percy is a half blood and has
Trouble reading English because he was born a demigod and is born to only read Greek
He also says he had ADHD which is also a fake symptom because those are just his war
Fighting instincts, that’s why he can’t ever sit down for a long time. His father is
Poseidon god of the sea brother of Zeus and Hades. His mother is sally Jackson a human
Who fell in love with a god. His mother married a man named Gabe only to protect him.
Percy is a demigod half human half god. He is a boy who has honor for who he is and at
The end embraces the fact he is a demigod, he finds his true talent when he is under water
and finds out he can breath underwater as well as on surface. Percy’s motivation for being
Better and less disobedient is his mother sally. Percy loves him mother for staying with
Gabe after all she’s been through and still keeping him after all the danger he had put her
Through. Percy was always a lonely boy with out a normal life so when he came to camp
Half-blood it was so new to him and he loved being there with everyone happy and
Together around him.
In my opinion the ending of the book was something I was not expecting! He also
did not understand what his uncle had to do with or why he did it but when he came back

to camp everyone cheered and bowed to him. His friend Luke was the only one who
stayed year long Luke invited him to a sparing match and went deep into the woods.
Percy had a bad feeling, Luke invited him to a soda which was prohibited in the camp.
Then he saw that Luke had a sword that could kill both mortals and immortals, which was
impossible because those were never made then Luke told him how he could not let Percy
live and that’s when it all clicked the prophets hade told Percy that he would be
successful and return the bolt but one of his friends would betray him. Luke snapped his fingers and a deadly scorpion appears on Percy’s leg. Luke left and Percy tried to get up
but as soon as he did the scorpion had stabbed him and the venom was traveling fast.
Luke had told Percy that if he was to be injected my scorpion venom the venom would
reach him heart in 60 seconds well it was close to it as he ran towards the camp he saw
people then a girl saw him and cried for help. He was taken back to the camp and treated.
The ending was the best part of the whole book!
