Lit & Comp Romeo and Juliet Writing Assignment Block 4
Dear Dr. Phil:
I am caught up in a little situation called “love at first sight.” The first time I saw this most beautiful girl named Juliet, I immediately knew that she was the one for me. But the upsetting part is that she is from the Capulet family. Ever since my cousin bit his thumb at a Capulet, our families have been enemies. Unfortunately, my family (Montagues) is not the classiest people around; we have our own style of living.
Juliet’s family does not agree with any of us being around them one bit. After the Masquerade party, when I saw Juliet for the first time, she was the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. I met her back at her house and I expressed the way I felt about her, it was like nothing I’ve ever felt before in my entire life. Her house-maid called her inside and I had to leave, ever since then; I have been thinking about her uncontrollably and I’ve been having these amazing dreams.
The only problem now is what if I want to spend the rest of my life with her and propose. Her family would never agree to that. We were meant to be together forever, she is all I care about. I’m sure there is no one else in the universe that makes me feel the way that she does. So, if you could please write me back and shed me some advice on this situation I would really appreciate it. Hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Romeo Montague
