Summertime and The Living’s Easy
This past summer I went to Maryland with my best friend Danielle. I’m invited for two weeks every summer; it’s been like that for as long as I can remember. I love being on the East Coast.
Saturday morning went by fast. I woke up and went to the gym for about an hour. After the gym I met a friend at Jamba Juice, I grabbed a Caribbean Passion. When I got home I took a nice refreshing shower. I started packing what seemed like my whole room into two large suitcases. I left a pair of True Religion shorts, my Gucci belt, and a black tee out to wear on the plane.
That evening my mom and I went to dinner at Benihana as a going away dinner. Benihana is one of our favorite restaurants that we go to all the time. My mom was bitter sweat about me leaving for two weeks and having my dad gone at work, she was going to be all alone. I ordered the Deluxe Treat, which is steak, lobster, shrimp, and vegetables.
Sunday morning I woke up at 4:00am my mom made me French toast for breakfast. When I was done eating I made my bed and tidied up my room. I hoped in the shower and after I was done I threw on my clothes. A town car pulled up in front of my house, the driver came to my front door and got my bags for me. My mom walked me to the car and I hugged my mom and kissed her goodbye, then climbed into the car.
My driver got me to the airport with time to spare so I wouldn’t be in a rush. I got out of the car while the driver put my bags on the curb. I tipped him and said thank you. I walked up to the United First Class section and checked in right away, I got my ticket and the lady gave me directions to my gate. I grabbed a Starbucks on the way and grabbed a seat once I got to my gate. I listened to my iPod until they started boarding my group.

Once I boarded and got to my oversized first class seat I got nice and comfortable and took a glass of water that the flight attendant offered me before take off. The rest of the plane boarded and we got ready for take off. No one took the seat next to me, which I was thrilled about. The flight attendant came back and took my water before we took off.
