The Game
It was supposed to be the worst game of our season, but it turned out to be the best. Looking back at the changes I had to make as a player and all the practices I had to go to, I decided this year was going to be different. Last year, we tied the Bedichek Bobcats 14-14, not allowing us to compete in the city championship. This year was the year we would get revenge and beat the Bobcats. If we won we would be 1st place in our zone and we would be headed to playoffs. The adrenalin was high and we were all pumped up to make this game a victory for the Tigers.
Before the game Coach Lewis and Coach Grumbles told us that if we won would be undefeated and we would control our own destiny. When we headed out the door, I felt butterflies in my stomach but I knew all we could do was try our best. When we were on the field stretching their bus pulled up and big guys came out ready for a complete challenge. At that point Coach Lewis said,” it doesn’t matter how big they are we just have to be big in our mind and we can take our team to victory”. When it was kick-off time, I said a prayer before I got on the field and the challenge was on. When I was on I felt nervous and just wanted to get off the field but I took a deep breath and the game started. The first drive we did not let them get any yards and the offense immediately would score. Mathew Milliner our quarter back and Caleb Jones our running back in the stance were ready to score. There were only a couple of minutes left in the first quarter, when we snapped the ball all I heard was the clash of helmets. Indeed, the referee with his hands up called it a touchdown. We all started yelling because we had just scored on the best team in Austin and the excitement was overwhelming. The 2nd quarter was different and they took the whole time and scored without making the 2 point conversion. At half time the score was 8 – 6 and we were winning and the coaches told us that we were doing a good job at not letting them score like they did last year. In my head I just could not believe we were winning.
The Essay on Johnson Game Team Coach
'We are going to be 100 percent certain before we put him into a live basketball game, where you face a lot more risk than you do just getting yourself ready to play,' Suns president and general manager Bryan Col angelo said. Johnson was not at practice on Monday. Instead, he was seeing doctors and having more adjustments done on the protective mask designed for him to wear when he does return. ...
Then came the scariest quarter of the game came 3rd quarter. I remember everything from the time, the place of the ball to even what was specifically said. There was only 1:40 left in the 3rd quarter and we were about to score when we were on the 5 yard line. All I heard was the others team player scream when our player speared him in the stomach. There was blood on my friend’s jersey and the coach told him to wipe it off. Nobody knew what was happening to him until our coaches told us. The player had difficult time breathing and it hurt when he sat up. After about forty five minutes an ambulance arrived and took him to the hospital to check him out.
After the big commotion was done our offense went on to try to score. Mathew, our QB was looking for somebody open to pass the football too, but didn’t find anyone, so he found a hole and just ran it in for the touchdown. When it came down to the 4th quarter they had the ball the whole time. It came down to this final drive to see if we win the game. I flashed back to the game against the Paredes Pumas with only nine seconds left in the game. When Bedichek’s quarter back scrambled in the pocket and there was no more time left he threw the ball as far has he could and the whole crowd went silent. The whole team starts celebrating when we saw the ball hit the ground and the referee signing an incomplete pass it was the best feeling I had ever had. After the game was finished all you were able to see is the bright orange numbers in the dark cold night. The final score was 14 – 6 and that meant that we had beat the best team in Austin. As I walked up the steep hill to the locker rooms, I take a breath as a sigh of relief. In the locker room I remember back to when our season first started.
The Essay on Learning Team Behaviour Time Jerry Members
Introduction In order to understand the basic functioning of a system, you must first come to understand what each individual part contributes to the whole. Getting to what makes Learning Team A (LTA) is no different. The question then becomes, "How best to gain insight into the individuals on the team?" This week the creation of the final paper fell to me, we also concluded that we needed to ...
Our first game was the worst game of them all against the Dripping Springs Tiger with a 30 – 6 loss. Then came Lake Travis, where our offense could not convert but the defense was able to hold them to 13 points and the game ended with a 13 – 0 loss. What gave us a boost was the game against our rivals the Small Cougars. It was just a beat down we gave them with a half time score of 22- 0. At the end of the game the score was 46-6 Tigers win. Before the game last week we played a nail bitter against the Pumas but left there field as winners.
All in all we could not do it without our great coaches and sticking as a team. From now to the championship we control our own destiny. Playing football is not easy but with all the confidence and believing in the team we can do well. Our team has its best and proven how we are all strong together. Football is a team sport and we played it well this year.
