The number of hours students studied per week was gathered by questionnaires from a sample size of 20 students. The objective of this paper is to interpret all of the necessary qualitative and quantitative data and present in accurate mathematical computations and graphics. In order to do this we include all of the necessary analyses. This report will perform the following statistical analyses: O Summarize the variables under study graphically (frequency distribution, histogram, etc).
O Test the variables under study using descriptive statistics. O Test of Hypothesi sO For each classified group separately summarize the variable under study using the descriptive measures. O Compare the descriptive measures of the groups. O Interpret and draw conclusions from each analysis. Introduction In this research paper, two data sets have been taken from a statistical database and have been converted into tables and charts in order to relate the data in simpler form. The database separated all of the information into four different set of number based on the number hours studied per-week. The second set of numbers that were gathered from the database was the number of hours a A&MU students study. This data was also composed into two categories based on the total number of hours studied per-week. METHODOLOGY Data was retrieved from students that attend Alabama State University and Alabama A&M University. The variables represented were that of 20 students from each category and the hours they studied per week.
All of the data collected are displayed in the rest of this research paper. A spreadsheets was created and the data was placed into its proper location based on the data that it included. This was used to show the information in a graphical sense in order to interpret all of the data in its simplest form. Descriptive Measures Sample Mean, Sample Variance, and Sample Standard Deviation and an assortment of others variables were used to conduct this research of hours students studied.
