Today, many researchers believe that there are five main core personality traits such as: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism and Openness. Basically, one of the big 5 personality dimensions is extraversion: This trait includes characteristics such as excitability, sociability, talkativeness, assertiveness and high amounts of emotional expressiveness. Extraversion is regarded as a valid predictor for two occupations involving social interaction, managers and sales (across criterion types).Besides that, the Need For Achievement is the extent to which an individual has a strong desire to perform challenging tasks well and to meet personal standards for excellence.
Furthermore, the relationship between personality type and achievement in an undergraduate physiology class can be illustrated through the following case study. The Myers- Briggs type indicator (MBTI) was given to 163 students in an undergraduate Human Physiology course at a large state university. Selected MBTI personality types were compared for achievement in the course using a t test to compare total points earned. High grades were earned by students stronger in the traits of introversion (I) and judgment (J), whereas the extra- verted (E) and perceptive (P) types had the lowest grades and dropped out of the course in the largest numbers. The author conducted the conclusion that there is definitely a strong relationship between personality and achievement.

It is strongly believed that the Human Physiology course is essentially combined with judgment, thinking, or introversion. In addition, it is highly recommended that one of the most prominent trends in organization nowadays is the dominance of team works compared to the accomplishment of the tasks once assigned to individuals. Team composition variables, including the personality characteristics of team members, need to be carefully considered so that the transition of work from individuals to teams results in performance improvements. The types of tasks relegated to teams also affect performance, and it is equally important that group tasks are clearly defined. As such, the current study explores the impact of big five personality patterns on both group cohesiveness and group performance on creative, brainstorming tasks. Groups with the optimal pattern generated more superior ideas than only one of the other pattern conditions. It was also found that group cohesion did not mediate the relationship between group level personality and creative task performance. Basically, the personality, where extraversion exists, in general is viewed to be responsible factors for learners’ success in learning second language. Since personality of each person varies, many scholars have pointed out that learners or teachers should take into account this aspect in the purpose of skill improvement in second language learning.
In research, extraversion appears to receive great attention by scholars to study among other traits in personality. There are correlation between English Department Students’ level of Extraversion and students’ writing achievement. This study also analyses extraversion personality in deeper level and writing skill. This research reveals how one aspect of personality, that is extraversion degree, is significant or not when learners want to master one type of English skills (writing).
