The purpose of this memo is to appeal for funding for Lynn Hunt to attend a Business Communications course. As a Coordination Administrator this course will significantly improve my ability to transcribe strong, concise, and effective messages in proficient method. Joining this course will afford me with a prospective for skilled improvement and allow me to connect better in writing with my classmates and seniors at the school, inspire effective communication which in turn will increase efficiency, save time and effort in rewriting documents and explaining what is needed.
Select few have taken similar classes for their school work and it has appeared to be very positive between those units. How to write effective, business letters to corporate connections. Partaking in this course may conceivably give access to other thoughts which will allow us to focus our efforts to standardize our developments before concentrating our time and funds. One of our current issues is that procedures are not tracked due to misperception. Good written communications is essential in maintaining proficiency and keeping mistakes to a minimum.
The course is titled, GB832 Business Communications and is being offered at Lamar University. The 8 week class is set to start October 1, 2013. The cost of the course is $1880.00 which contains books and necessary course materials. Since the course is offered in the evening, all course work and attendance will be in the evenings so it will not interrupt my current planned time at work
