Napoleon was a villain
Have you heard the name of the person who was called as ‘Napoleon’?
I think you might hear that name at least once in your life because he was a famous general and communist when French Revolution had started and French history in terms of both domestic and foreign policy in the period 1799-1815. He was certainly the most famous person in the world and everyone knows about him. Why do you think that he is that famous? Because he had done a lot of works in his life. But still many people are wondering that was he a hero or a villain. But I can say that he was a villain for sure and I am going to tell you more facts and reasons for my opinion but before that I briefly want to talk about him that what things he had done in his life.
As I told you that he was really famous army general in France. He was completely different from other soldiers, because he didn’t have the time of being a soldier, he learned the other way of other people. He was learning the leadership for becoming the leader or the captain of the army. As what he wished, he became a general and communist of France army. And there were lots of problems which make him look very villain.
A Farewell to Arms is a typical love story. It is much like Romeo and Juliet. Frederick Henry representing a similar role to Romeo and Catherine Barkley to Juliet. Like the love of Romeo and Juliet, the conflicting environment and people around them challenged their love. Frederick and Catherine are placed against significant odds in this novel. They must survive the obstacles of World War I. ...
First, he wanted too much power and authority. Once he got the power, he wanted more and more, and that causes overthrowing the government. He wanted the power too much so that he used his power to overthrow the government and took all the power which was really bad mistake on him. Do you think which kind of people will like the person who overthrows the government to get his own power? He was a very selfish man, he didn’t care how many of people will die from his war he just wanted to conquer more countries and more lands. There were the demonstrations from citizen who disagree with Napoleon’s idea. But the Napoleon just shot the cannon to the crowd of people who were demonstrating. He killed many innocent people and it made him very bad person.
Second, I can say that he was a cruel and the worst leader I’ve read in the history book. First reason is that he lost in so many wars, it is not bad to lose in the wars but he just lost so many soldiers from stupid wars, and from what I had read on the book, he lost about 21 million soldiers in his wars. He was over confident about himself all the time. He thought that he could win in every wars but the point is that he didn’t win in every wars. He was very selfish on wars also because he ran away when they were having wars in Egypt, he left his soldiers behind and he survived from those wars… how selfish was him!!! From what he had done on his wars, he was not a good leader at all.
Third, he was a selfish, greedy, and liar. As I told you that he ran away from the wars and left all the soldiers behind. He was a good liar to everyone, he lied every time when he had to. He said that he could do something for the people and he promised them but he didn’t make it real so no one trusted him. He was too selfish and greedy to having a power; he thought that it was not enough to get power for only him. So what he did was that he deposed several European rulers and replaced them with some members of his family, who had no right to these thrones and were certainly no better European rulers. He made his brothers as ruler of the land which he conquered.
If you just read what he had done all for his life, you will feel that he was not a hero but he was villain. Many of famous historic people made their mistakes and did many bad things but Napoleon did too much of them in his life. So I think that he was not hero but he was villain.
The constitution divides the war power between the congress and the President, in article I, section 8 the constitution says; ‘That congress shall have power …to declare war. ’ and in article II, section 2 it says; ‘ The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of United States. ’ The founders divided the power in my opinion for the reason that they don’t want to make the ...
