Thesis: Even though a lot of precautions are being held by governments in recent years, the
increase of wildfires is a global problem as their damages are getting higher and higher from
day to day with the reasons of a plenty of human activities, accidental fires and natural causes.

Why Do Wildfires Occur?
Humanity is nothing in the absence of nature. Knowing this well, it must protect the nature and learn how to live without giving harm to it. Forests are one of the substantial parts of nature and they host the most significant populations of land-living creatures since the earth exists. They have been started to give great damages by growth of urbanization especially after Industrial Revolution which started in England around 1850s. Nowadays, it is entered to an irreversible path with the rapid increase of global warming. Furthermore, its effects became visible during the last decades and something must be done anyway. Even though a lot of precautions are being held by governments in recent years, the increase of wildfires is a global problem as their damages are getting higher and higher from day to day with the reasons of a plenty of human activities, accidental fires and natural causes.
The Essay on Human Reason Descartes God Pascale
Perspectives on Human Reason Human reason is a topic that, without a doubt, can have multiple outlooks by various individuals. Descartes believed that reason was the ultimate cornerstone of human knowledge, while Pascale believed that reason alone could not allow someone to attain knowledge. He felt there were limits on reason. Both tried, to the best of their ability, to back their beliefs and ...
First of all, one of the main reasons of wildfires lies behind human greed aiming at more land to use for several purposes. People are burning forests down to make the new areas usable for their own benefits. For instance, mostly, these are the villagers with the purpose of planting new farms and pasture the cattle. In her article “Amazon Fires on the Rise”, Lindsey asserts that Amazon is a limiting factor for peasants. Nowadays, they harm an enormous quantity of acres of rainforest by reason of having more field to work and to look after more cattle (March 5, 2008).
The rapid increase of deforestation is sourced by not only the villagers but also some companies trying to expand their acreage. It is acknowledged by Butler that, unlike the 1970s, the main purpose of using land has changed as agricultural industry instead of the government-sponsored organizations of subsistence workers in the Brazilian Amazon (June 19, 2008).
These may be non-recyclable losses and can result terribly for our old and weary world because of the effects of global warming. Consequently, these incidents could lead to significant climate changes over the long term.
Secondly, the carelessness of people causes many wildfires every year since nobody is aware of what disasters they are leading to. In most situations, a tiny spark is the source of a tremendous blaze. For instance, a cigarette butt which has not been realised can cause either little or extensive damages to the environment. Marnewick states that discarded cigarettes of users who do not care much may absolutely lead to wildfires even though there are some stories in contradiction (August 26, 2009).
The Essay on Land Clearing In Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon Rainforest is the largest tropical rainforest in the world. The majority of the rainforest is sited in Brazil with 60% of the rainforest contained there. It is also spread throughout other nations in South America such as Peru, Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana. (See Figure 1) Land clearing has become a major contributing factor in the ...
Not only cigarette butts, but also match heads could be the reason for tragic conditions sometimes. It is commented by author Post that, after looking for any tips about wildfires with a magnifier, Minnesota’s Wildfire Investigation Team misleadingly finds out that either a match head or a discarded cigarette starts a fire mostly (May 2, 2006).
Consequently, people going for a picnic or camping should act more carefully to aid the prevention of wildfires.
Lastly, in spite of widespread struggles against the wildfires, there are some several out of control reasons that are not sourced by human beings. These fatal reasons are usually disasters like floods and droughts. Since floods bring about the loss of minerals and beneficial substances of forest lands, they lead forests to be given more harm easily. Butler stresses that, El Nino incidents give more harm with the effects of global warming to Amazonia, which is a unit of the system with its high importance (June 19, 2008).
Likewise, droughts take part in being a reason of wildfires as floods. It is recommended by the author Westerling that scientific and climatic evidences about the information gained by tree rings of fire history show that western forest wildfire risks are mainly associated with drought concurrent with the summer fire season in antecedent years (July 6, 2006).
On the whole, it can be said that more struggle should be acted by governments against the natural causes.
Despite the measures against wildfires during last years, their augmentation is still a bad thing for us and our world. There are several other problems we are handling right now and we should handle in the future but I believe that, with their evolutional maturity and with the assistance of developing technologies, people will work for reparation of forests more than the given damages of past and minimize the number of wildfires one day.

The Term Paper on Effects Of Wildfires On Forest Ecosystems
Ecological Restoration of Forests and Fires One of the most predominate ecosystems is the forest community. Covering about one-fourth of the land area on Earth, forests consist mainly of trees and other woody vegetation, growing closely together. The trees can be large and densely packed, as they are in the coastal forests of the Pacific Northwest, or they can be relatively small and sparsely ...
