“The 1832 report into the working
Conditions of children in the factories
Shows that children worked in terrible
Conditions”. Do you agree?
There is some evidence to suggest that the report into children’s conditions in factories is useful. Because children had to go school every single day on and, on and on they had cuts on their arms when they came out. They had blood on their top or trousers . However there is more significant evidence that suggest this report was inaccurate and selective Is useful for example children had to start work at 5:30 am in the morning and if they are late they probably would be fired, which you would expect for a young children to be late. They cant even get a little rest because they have to work like little robots from day and night. And they don’t even get enough money to help 1 person. So how are they going to help the rest of their family. However they don’t learn anything just buy picking things up from the floor with there little fingers, making, or fixing things. And if they don’t educate they wouldn’t be able to get a better job. So they could get money like that.
On the other hand there is some evidence to suggest that the report into children’s conditions in factories is useful. However there is more significant evidence that suggest this report was inaccurate and selective evidence is not useful for example children chose to do this job so its not our fault that they cant do this and that.
The Essay on Working Conditions Workers Hours Work
To the Editor: Working conditions today are usually good and pretty safe, right? That's what we know, is that all factories are safe, that all of the laws are followed, and that everything is great. Look at what you are wearing today, maybe a jacket mad in the U. S. , a t-shirt made in Malaysia, jeans made in Mexico, and socks made in China. To stay competitive, large companies contract out to ...
However they have agreed to come in at 5:30 am in the morning because they came and accepted the rules. And if they don’t do it they will get fired.
The report is of some use to historians who wish to show that the working conditions of children in the 1830’s were terrible. Fro example children could only go to the toilet 3 times day so they have to hold it and not go toilet or they could get told off. And there money could go down they could even get half of what they get. However children are forced to work harder then they should, because they could get beaten or fired. They wouldn’t get another warning. Children cant even do one blink, or turn their head to the left. This factory is in a bad conditions because there is too many dust flying around which is causing the children to spit out blood. Because of all the dust that are flying around, and it cause them to be sick Which they could end up dying.
The report is of some to historians who wish to show that the working conditions of the factory wasn’t so terrible because that’s what its made for, for working which might be a bit dusty however they came to work which they have nothing to complain about they are free to go . Also they get paid to go inside that dust and do there work. Which shows that is wasn’t in a very bad condition because we still have people working for us.
This viewpoint is supported by other evidence such as people get beaten for one wrong thing, and people get sick and even more sick buy all the dust and dirt that are flying around and the dirt when they are picking things off the floor. However people didn’t even get a lot of money and they did go through terrible things such as cuts, beaten marks, and lots of different things. Children had to go work from 5:30 am in the morning and finished at 8:00 pm at night they had to stay in their with all those sick people and dust for a very long time. Also they cant even go toilet a lot only 3 times a day, they do anything they are like little robots. Women get beaten they get injured arms from the machines there should be a safety stop button. There should be a aid kit just in case something happens.
Children with Paid Work
Nowadays, more and more children work for money. To some extent, paid work can help children to learn, to take responsibilities and have some extra money. However, it is also controversial to discuss whether or not children should get involved in money pursuit. To my mind, this really has some advantages and disadvantages. Paid work can bring children some income. Children are supposed to get ...
This viewpoint is not supported because the money that we give is up to us what we give and most of the people do accept it as you can see. There are lots of people work there. However the government is caring about children’s health so there could be a few changes. for the children. Men children and women could lie about us beaten them you have no proof.
However, the historians should be cautious before totally accepting that children’s working conditions in the 1830’s were terrible, as the evidence which shows this could be misleading children get injured and don’t have any safety kits to help them selves out because they could get germs by all the dirt in the factory. Also children get beaten for having a little chat or, not watching their work which is same for the others (women & men ) children’s
Clothes so then they would have to waste their money to buy new clothes as well.
The conditions wasn’t terrible because children could of looked after them selves if they got injured. And ask for some help if they really needed someone. Also they could of bought a bandage. However if they really thought is was dusty they could of cleaned.
This viewpoint is supported by other evidence. For example children may be able to get help them selves out but they don’t get enough money to buy a bandage and they have to money injuries so they cant shut them all. However children are getting marks from all the beating. Also children wouldn’t really understand how to shut there injuries. Also women get beaten and they mostly look worried however one of them is been threatened just because she took a break workers don’t really get a lot money although they work from 5:30 am – 8:00 pm.
This viewpoint is not supported because the children should be able to get a bandage with the money with give them because they should be able to save up. And buy them selves a aid kit. Children don’t really get beaten but they shouldn’t have to turn around because we didn’t give them that job to just turn around or play about. We gave it for them to work for us.
The Essay on Work Force Women Fitzpatrick Stalin
Every Day Stalinism, by Sheila Fitzpatrick gives the real accounts of life under the control of Joseph Stalin. Fitzpatrick states her claim as to how Stalin remained in power for over twenty-five years by using methods of oppression and by implementing modernity. One of the main reasons that Stalin stayed in power was by implementing modernity into a society that had previously been stuck in a ...
In conclusion I think the report is useful to a historian studying work conditions because it shouldn’t be right to make kids do an adults work and make them start work at 5:30 am in the morning and end really late.
however children can not really learn anything by working in a factory filled with dirt and dust. Also kids caught lots of germs and diseases from there, also women and men and children got beaten just for not watching there work or having a little chat/break which then they get marks maybe scars. The factory isn’t a safe place because there isn’t any safety button to stop so the injury doesn’t get worse. However there should be different rules which are useful like women should have there hair tied up so there would be no damages. I think that this report is useful.
