To Kill A Mockingbird is a novel of many lessons, by Harper Lee. Scout and Jem are the main characters about six and ten at the beginning. One of the lessons they learned was about judging people before you really know them. 42 A lesson Scout learned from Boo was about judging people. All the kids in the area thought Boo was very mean and hurt people. Boo was a really nice person but Scout didnt think this. He saved their life risking his own.
He put gifts in a tree so Scout and Jem could find them. Boo was very giving, he gave soap dolls, a broken watch, and more. Boo gave them their life, by running with a knife and risking there own. He turned out being very shy, sweet and needs Scout to talk him home. They thought he was very big and a mean man. Boo was like a child in heart.
Boo really was a sweet man and kind of in a way looked up to Scout. 129 Aunt Alexandra seems different to Scout and then things change. For example Aunt Alexandra said Scout was born good but had grown progressively worse every year. This hurt Scout very much and wanted Aunt Alexandra to like her. Scout thought she had just disliked her. Aunt Alexandra continued to isolate Scout long after Jem and Francis got to sit at the adult table.
Aunt Alexandra favored the boys over Scout. Scout acts older them her age, Aunt Alexandra has not realized that yet. Aunt Alexandra, at a get together of lady told Scout to join them for refreshments. She must have realized she is old enough Scout realized she is not all that bed and doesnt really dislike her.
