Boxer the horse from Animal Farm was much like my mother. They both share the characteristics of hard workers. They are dedicated to what they do, admired by many, and never quit before a job is done. Boxer was the strongest animal on Animal Farm, and my mother is one of the strongest women I know. Although they have different kinds of strength, Boxers being physical and my moms mental, they are both the greatest strengths Ive ever seen. Boxer was so forceful and powerful just like my mom.
They both have a drive that made them always want to work harder, which was Boxers personal motto, and strive for the best in what they do. Boxer was always so determined to get the job done. Whether it was to finish the windmill, that was repeatedly destroyed, or finish field work he always completed the job. My mom works so hard just the same. They both always make time for things that need to be done. Sometimes she stays late at work or gets up early to finish something she is working on.
Just like Boxer who got up early and labored during the night to finish the work on the farm. Boxer and my mother always want to help out. They both volunteer themselves when there is extra work to be done, and always want to help. My mom works for my family to make money so we can live well. Boxer worked to help the animals on the farm, because he was the strongest. My mom often works when she isnt feeling well or is hurt, and so did Boxer when he split his hoof.
I show my mom as much admiration as all the animals had for Boxer on Animal Farm. Boxer reminded me a lot of my mother because he was always saying “I Will Work Harder” and that seems to be what she always does.
