Technology is also not as advanced as other competitors. Many companies, such as Wal-Mart and Rite-Aid, have better developed scanners and auto-replenishment systems whereas Brookshire’s is currently requiring employees to manually type in some prices and use Tel xon systems for reordering. Brookshire’s has shown excellent growth and stability in a very competitive world. Many employees have proven to be an asset to the company because of their length of service and their dedication to the company’s legendary customer service strategy.
