With the recent merger between InterClean, Inc. and Envirotech, Inc. a new improved sales team that will utilize each organizations best practice will be created and merged into one to implement the additional services that will be available to our customers.
InterClean has aspirations of eventually going global, to be successful the organization needed to go in a new direction. By merging InterClean, which focused on aggressive sales with EnviroTech which focused on customer relationships and retention the organization will be able to provide a friendly full service cleaning solution to twice the amount of existing customers, while at the same time having the knowledge of how to aggressively pursue new potential customers.
In order to create one exceptional sales team from the existing two, a great amount of time and thought needs to exhausted in order to make the best decision for our customers and the organization. To help make the best sound decision a job analysis will be performed. “The purpose of a Job Analysis is to establish and document the ‘job relatedness’ of employment procedures such as training, selection, compensation, and performance appraisal.” (2009).

1. Experience in solution based selling: This candidate will have extensive knowledge of company products and services and will be able to meet the clients’ needs.
2. Participates in the development of training the sales department: This candidate will have extensive training experience along with the knowledge of company, state and federal product policies and procedures
3. Generating referrals: This candidate will have excellent customer relations to generate referrals to the fullest extent to obtain sales goals and establish and maintain client relationships delivering quality service from initial point of contact through the delivery and beyond.
4. Experience in managing a diverse organization: This candidate will be able to have a clear idea about what qualifications are needed for a certain position and make sure the most qualified candidate candidates are in position. This candidate will also be able to interpret and understand pertinent records and literature on company products, services and promotions; sales and marketing reports; client relationships; and other work related activity. Additionally this candidate will maintain a comprehensive profile of top competitors and their operations including products, services and prices.
After completing the job analysis and identifying the skills needed for the positions we now need to look at completing a workforce planning system. Tom has been in the industrial cleaning industry for over 25 years. Tom enjoys establishing long-term relationships with customers and being the point person for customers to come to if there are problems.
• Eric Borden, Compliance Coordinator, Eric has been with the organization for the past 14 years, he prides himself on keeping current with the latest industrial cleaning and sanitation industry developments, as well as on the changes to regulations and compliance issues affecting the industry.
• Ving Hsu, Training Coordinator, Ving has been with the organization for 12 years, he enjoys working with customers and performs training seminars on a regular basis in order to help train the employees of his customers. Once the job analysis was completed the organization needed to put their direct focus on the sales department, by completing a workforce plan gave the organization a precise image for making staffing decisions based on an organization’s mission, strategic plan, budgetary resources, and a set of desired workforce competencies. Lastly the implementation of the united sales department to carry out the vision of the organization was chosen after careful deliberation by examining their individual experience and customer commitments.
