Corporations like P & G can only benefit from all the tools that they are providing their employees if the employees are using the tools now being provided to them.

Previously research analysts would type up their data and experiments with Microsoft applications and then print these documents out and glue them page by page into notebooks. Not only is this method very time consuming and it is also very cost inefficient. Now researchers can use systems such as Teamcenter where they are now able to upload and access 3D visual product data which also works with SharePoint so any non-visual documents are also available as easy as searching in a browser like system and pulling up the data. Saving an immense amount of time and money in all departments.

7. Can you think of other ways P & G could use collaboration to foster innovation?
I feel like if P & G could find one simple system that would work as a combination of Teamcenter and SharePoint it would be more efficient for employees to find needed data instead of having to look through both systems to see where the document is stored. Also after looking over their website I found that while it is great they now have a way for every day consumers to submit their own innovations and ideas to the company to be reviewed it would be nice if they had a better way for consumers to be able to voice their opinions good or bad about current products as well.
