Do you know what the feeling of success in school feels like? Like getting a good grade on a test or even a paper you wrote that you thought you didn’t do so well on. A lot of the times I think that when you succeed you want to show and tell everyone what you’ve accomplished. The feeling is great and it makes you want to keep working harder and succeeding in everything you do not just school. Going to College of the Redwoods has made me want to work harder and achieve my goals to be successful.
Its showed me what it takes to be successful but there’s other things that are also a factor to my success. I believe that my chances to succeed in college will be determined by the people in my life, values, and opportunities given. My success is determined by the people in my life that I cherish, my positive values, and making the most out of my opportunities. First of all, I believe that my success will increase with the people I have in my life and the many values I have set for my future. Having supportive family affects me in a positive way greatly.
Showing my family what I have accomplished even as simple as getting a good grade on a test shows me my success to them is great. With everyone always thinking positive and telling me good job encourages me to keep working hard. In addition, having friends that are there for me my success in college goes up even more. Being able to ask a friend for help when in need is such a privilege to have.. Also, even though everyone can be doing their own thing any help that you can get is nice to have when you know that there’s nothing more you can do yourself.
As human beings, we all have a lot of qualities to help us to achieve what we want to in life. Next, I believe that the values I have set for myself will lead me to success in college to be able to succeed later in life. Being able to look forward at what I can make of myself in the future from my success in college really shows me I’m on the right track. Also, My values will start small but end big to ensure that my success from CR has got me ready for the real world. Secondly, I believe all the opportunities that surround me I make the best possible choices for them to ensure success. Opportunities that are offered directly to me I first see what my current situation then plan out what’s best for me.
Next, I make sure that if my first opportunity doesn’t succeed that I will have a backup plan to make sure that my success is still on the right track for me. If there is an opportunity that isn’t offered to me but is open I will approach it fast but calmly in order to show I want to be a successful person. In addition, opportunities that surround me there’s never one that’s left without me trying to succeed at it. Even if I fail it will only push me to keep wanting to succeed. Furthermore, family and friends are a big part of my life to be able to succeed in college and in life.
I couldn’t succeed without all their help and time they have put into my life in order to watch me be the successful person I want to be. Also, always having a positive outlook on my values that I hold onto make things better for me and think about how I can keep improving on my personal skills to succeed in college. Last of all, the people in my life, my positive values, and the opportunities that surround me determine my success.
