The world that we live in today is far from perfect. We read in the papers every day about war, terrorism, famine, genocide, violence, pollution, hatred and sorrow. It is our natural human instinct to believe that things are going to get better but it seems that each day the world actually gets worse and if we look back in history it doesn’t seem like things were much better, we only have to look back to the genocide in Rwanda or the Holocaust in Europe during the late 1930’s and early 40’s. In this essay I am going to describe what I view as a “perfect world” and how things would be and the way they would be run.
In my perfect world each child will be born into a household where everything will be taken care of including food, shelter and education. Each child will then be brought up in a healthy living environment. The child will then begin his or her education, which will be fully paid for, the child will complete a tertiary education and will be fully qualified to pursue any career they want to because there will be no excess of manpower in any field.
When the child finishes school he or she will only have to work in their career to get extras in life like luxuries and additional comforts. They will not have to work for their survival (like our current world) because the law of the world will have taken care of their basic needs from birth till death. This means that people will also work because they enjoy what they are doing and are not doing it just to survive.

When the child decides to settle down and start a family they will have no difficulty in finding the perfect spouse, after their marriage the two will have to find a house, the house will be paid for by the government because they take care of everyone’s basic needs, there will be no need for them to live in a house in a boomed road with an electric fence and their own personal security guard as there will be no crime. People will be more interested in enjoying their lives rather than committing crime with the aim of getting money in mind because their needs will already have been taken care of.
The government will be well equipped to enforce all laws including the protection of all people who are weak or underprivileged because if the people of the country are poor the government will also be starved of cash but if the people are rich then the government will be prosperous and well equipped. The government will then be able to take care of its people and protect their rights. People will not be left helpless when cheated. The couple will not have to pay taxes as their will be no need as the government will grow as the people grow.
In my perfect world there will be only joy and pleasure all the time and in everyone’s life. Technology will make everyone’s lives simpler and easier and people will not have to fear that they might not survive the next day due to a lack of money. All kinds of life and health threatening pass times like drinking, smoking and drugs will not exist, as there will be no need to do them as we will be in a constant state of happiness.
Every day we hope and pray for a better, perfect world but after everything our world has gone through its hard to imagine George W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden being good friends , and people in impoverished under developed countries such as Sudan living in houses like ours and driving their Mercedes Benz to work every day.
