The study focuses on generating a system to be use by Riceland Inn 2. The Riceland Inn 2 Management System software was developed to become a useful equipment to help the Riceland Inn to gather, store and manipulate data. It also provides effective protection from unauthorized access.
This study centers on a system that built explicitly for the use in Riceland Inn 2 Management. This system may provide different functionality as long as it will be done under the consent of the researchers. As this project is being developed it is designed with the fundamentals and ethics of Information Technology. It is specifically designed to integrate the information data within the institution. The project presents the gateway to ameliorate the present system being utilized by the said firm.
The system is concerned to improve the access of recording employee and customer information, payrolls, facility reservations, attendance and bills with the accurate automated system. This system also provides security and protection against unauthorized access preventing the obstruction of system operations.
CHAPTER I
Background of the Study
Situated within a stone’s throw from the business district in the heart of Calapan City, this unassuming inn has been a family run operation for over 25 years. It is located in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood and within a convenient walking distance from offices, banks, groceries, department stores, restaurants, internet café, telecommunication centers, market, hospital, police station & church.
The Business plan on Case Study: An Information System Management Model
Summary This article presents the purchase management information system, finance management information system and security information system, their interdependence and tight correlation. Furthermore, we state the goals of the purchase management information system that must be achieved in any organisation, as the purchase (sub)process is carried out in every organisation. Designed for the thrifty traveler, it is one of the city’s most economical stays where one can still enjoy the amenities to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They have reasonable room rates for most any budget. Every room has a private bathroom. Standard rooms are twins or a double. Several rooms in the deluxe category are spacious rooms with a double bed and a twin that can accommodate more than two if necessary. Garden tables and chairs provide al fresco dining, snacking or relaxing in front of the rooms in one wing of the inn.
All the task and processes undergoing in the inn are manually executed. The calculation of bills and payrolls are accomplished by using a calculator. The total bill is determined by summing up all the prices of the facilities and acquired services. These services are based on their flat rate pricing. The attendance also affects the employee’s payroll. A desk employee is assigned to check the attendance of the employee by writing down on a log book whether an employee is absent or late and their time of arrival. Finally at the end of the month the employees’ records are reviewed and the their payroll is determined by subtracting their total deduction derived from the number of times they are late and/or absent from the combined amount of their base salary and their accumulated commissions. All these processes are done by using a calculator and writing it down in a log book.
We intend to improve their current system by automating the way of viewing and recording the attendance and other information as well as the computations of bills and payrolls.
Assumption
By the end of this research, the developers do not intend to change the very management of Riceland Inn 2. We intend to improve their current system by automating the way of viewing and recording the attendance and other information as well as the computations of bills and payrolls. And through this is the convenience in work for all Riceland Inn staffs and employee.

Significance of the Study
To the users:
The system will provide the employees convenience by reducing the employees’ amount of work through the automation of their tasks.
The Inn will be less tolerant to absences and late arrivals of employees.
The Inn’s production can be increased because of the extra time and effort the employees will conserve.
To the future researchers:
This study can be developed or be a basis of future studies that will aid other fields whichever needs a system like this.
To the developers:
This study will improve the skills of the developer by having the opportunity to develop a system and write a program.
Objectives of the Study
To digitalize the records and automate the way of storing data thus reducing the need for paper, ink and space required to store them and allowing the files to be stored in electronic devices. To create a password protected system allowing the user to control the accessibility of records equipped with a database system that will maintain precise and consistent data. Also, to allow the tracking of who used and when the system is accessed.
To provide automatic calculation of bills, commissions and payrolls, to reduce the need for arithmetic computations.
To provide software with a fast, effective and advanced search functions that will reduce the amount of time consumed on looking up records.
Theoretical Framework
Upon attendances, the desk officer will check the time of arrival of employees and staffs and input it in the system for record purposes. The system then reads time and check if it is late or not. Deduction of salary for the particular employee is then computed and saved in a database.
Upon reservations, the desk officer will check the system for slots of the needed facility if it is available or not. The system then records and is put to a database for further calculations in the future.
Upon billing, the system is attached with automated computation depending on the inn’s price rates. The system then records and is put to a database for calculation of income of the said firm. Under this also lies the record for the inn’s electric, water and maintenance bills.
The Term Paper on Performance Appraisals Appraisal System Employee
The Performance Of Performance Appraisal Sanjeev Kumar Saxena - Jodhpur Today, most of organisations attempt to develop the outlook and performance of its employees by using multiple and complex training and educational programmes. In comparison to this, several academician's, researches and professionals hold that the personality of employees is generally developed when they learn several ...
The system is user-friendly in the way of viewing and manipulating data and records. Above all, the system is password – protected to avoid the unauthorized personnel use.
In terms of Payroll, the proposed program will automate the calculation of payrolls including the increase from the item/service commission and the reduction of salary from the attendance.
In terms of Billing, the proposed program will automate the calculation and display of the subtotal of the bills.
In terms of Attendance, it will be checked by the assigned desk employee upon the arrival of the employee and will directly affect the payroll by deducting from the salary relatively proportional values based on the absences and late.
Delimitation:
In terms of Reservation, the program does not provide any online reservation system. Reservation is done offline simply by the use of the Phone Hotline on the main desk.
The program does not require an internet connection nor does benefit from one.
In terms of Payroll, the program does not have the functionality of applying the Social Security Service tax on the monthly payroll.
