Knowing there was no adults or supervision, the kids established a democracy. For an example, Ralph was a leader and he also had a good heart throughout the book. He took action as soon as he set foot on the island. Instead of appointing himself to be the leader without the consent of the other kids, he decided to take a vote to choose who would be leader. He believed in democracy instead of dictatorship. In my opinion, I think that we ” re all inherently good but we ” re tainted with the original sin.
