Students must regularly keep referring to the topic that they are writing about and treat every word in the topic as important so as to avoid being off the topic. The usage of too many personal pronouns was quite common among students hence turning expository writing into personal writing and students had to pay dearly for this. It is very important that students have to be taught again the skills of expository writing when they enter into form seven because too many still have no knowledge at all even at this stage.
