The Term Paper on Kennedy Assassination People President Country
The assassination of a president is something that the United States has had to face only four times in its history. After the U. S. researched them they found out they were owned by the Soviet Union. The reason the soviet union was building these sites is because they wanted to become powerful and take over the world and if they took care of America for Cuba, Cuba would be in the Soviet Unions control along with America.
The Military suggested a sneak attack but Kennedy turned it down because that was how he lost in The Bay of Pigs Invation. So he ordered a navel blockade on October 22, 1962. He demanded withdraw of all the missile sites. Six days later, October 28, 1962, the crisis ended due to the stress put on Cuba and the Soviet Union.
Later, the Soviet Union and the U. S. signed a treaty that bans any nuclear weapon testing on each. J. F.
K. started the civil rights legislation in 1962 and 1963 when racial tension picked up. The legislation prohibited discrimination in employment and established The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. It also banned discrimination in public accomodations. Lee Harvey Oswald served in the Marines before he committed the murder. He was later killed by a night club owner, Jack Ruby, that recognized who he was and what he did.
Some people say that Kennedy was the best president we have ever had and some people think that he was the worst. But people should look up to him as a hero because of all the great things he has done for our country and not just our country but many others also. He was probly one of the most patriotic persons ever. Bibliography Grolier’s.
