Teaching Art. “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” (1) This is a very true statement, because to be a good teacher you need to have the children interested in the process you are teaching them. The most important thing to remember is that you should only pursue a teaching career if you really want to, not because it’s convenient or there are openings. If you can keep a class interested in what you’re teaching, handle the different learning styles of 30 kids and help the lonely kid in the last row connect with somebody who’ll be his friend, then you might just make a difference in many young lives.(4) It is very special to be a child in a society. Society has so much to offer, there is so much out there for the young children. We live in a changing world and it is changing with more and more advantages for the young child.
Children possess unusual sensitivity and mental powers for absorbing and learning from their environment that are unlike those of the adults.(5) The Essence of Education should be the attempts of a grown up to provide the suitable environment for the child, in order to aid the development of the child. The teacher in a todays world should provide a safe environment for a child. He should not be a person that lets out all of his negative emotions on the child. He should be a mentor, but such a mentor that he only aids the child, if the child encounters certain problems. He shouldnt be the person who bosses the child around, he is a person who provides guidelines for the childs harmonized development.(2) In order to become a teacher you have to be psychologist, first of all. You have to understand the needs and interests of every single child, to see if they have any problems at home (because the best expression of the childs problems is in their art: through the use of shapes and most of all the colors), if they need any help or counseling.
The Essay on The Advantages of Fewer Children per Teacher
As world populations continue to grow exponentially, teachers are facing a new problem in classrooms- the large number of children. With more children, it is more difficult to teach new subjects in a short amount of time. Teachers have little time to help individual students struggling because the rest of the class is already excelling on the subject and wants to learn something new. Not only do ...
The art teacher is one of the most important teachers, because only in his class a child can open up his artistic abilities, and only in his class you can see if the child needs any help. In a more practical sense the art teacher helps children to draw what they see around them. With the guiding from the teachers: some questions to emphasize some aspects like the texture and the size of the objects, different relationships within the model that the children have to draw. In art it is encouraged that the children use the five senses: the touch, smell, sound, taste, sight. When the use of these senses is all integrated, than the picture will really become realistic and alive. It is very important the teacher doesnt suppress the creativity of children.
Dr. Montessoris aim for each individual is to let the individual be free. The beginning of the process of freedom for each child, should start with a change in each adult: No child can be free unless we do. (5) The main aim of Dr. Montessori for each child was to prepare him or her for the future world. The main important goal is to let a child be himself, and to be able to explore this life without any restrictions, only with some guidance from the teacher of the parents. In doing so the child will open up more and have a much greater progress in development and in education.
I think a classroom must be a happy place children learning things that interest them. They should be able to talk and help each other freely. If the child can choose their own work and to work on it as long as they wish, it is only the child who will know when he has to finish, not when the adult tells him or gives him a time limit. Children should work together, they should not have to sit at their desk and be told when to move. From my experience, children work together well, it gives them the pleasure to show another child their work. I think children learn more easily from one another than from an adult because they seem to have a very good communicative way.(2) For a teacher it is very important to carry a positive attitude.
The Dissertation on The Effects of Specialized School Curricula on Children’s Art Experience and Knowledge
Three approaches in early childhood education in Europe have been significantly increasing the conduct and practices of teaching in North America. “In elementary and early childhood education, three of the best-known approaches with European origins are Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia” (Edwards, 2002, n. p. ). These inspirational approaches provide an alternative method of teaching from the ...
There is no way that you can come into a classroom being dull or in a bad temper. The children are there for you to help them, not for you to put out all of your bad humor on them. To be able to teach different levels in school: kindergarten, middle and high school you need to have a great variety of techniques that you can use in order to create an effective classroom environment. It is also important to be a great problem solver, because in a classroom with 20 individuals you will definitely face some problems. In order to be able to be a teacher you have to have excellent speaking and communication skills. You have to be able to convey your ideas in such a manner that all of the children in the class will understand you.(2) In order to become a good teacher you can never stop.(3) Every single you have to work on yourself, just like the children.
If you stop your process of education for at least one day, the children will lose interest in the class you are teaching, very quickly. Teaching is a life-long ship cruise, and if you have started it, there is no getting off the boat. There is no heading back, there is just more and more routes for developing and becoming and even better professional. You will know that you are a good teacher, once your ex-student will come to you in a couple of years after graduation, and will tell you that they still remember you, and that your classes have really helped them in their life. Once my old teacher said, that it is very important when you get old, and you are a walking down the street, and a young man or a woman come up to you and say that they remember you! That moment is bliss to any teacher.(2) Bibliography. Bartel, Marvin. Learning to Think Artistically.

The Term Paper on Special Education: Exceptional Children in the Classroom
Abstract Instructional practice designed to be effective in the mainstream-inclusion classroom environment must be one that is readily adaptable yet one that is sensible in its’ application in this unique and exceptional classroom setting. The Secret of Childhood (1972) New York. Interview Svetlana: Good afternoon. It is a pleasure to meet with you. Kirsten Peeters: Thank you. The pleasure is mine. S.: You have been a teacher for a couple of years now, havent you? K.P.: Yes, in fact I have been teaching for the past 10 years.
I have been working in many countries. In fact, in Serbia I helped to start a Montessori school. S.: Tell me please, how did you decide to become a teacher? K.P.: In, fact I have a lot of teachers in my family, so it must run in the genes. S.: Why did you choose the Montessori method for your teaching practice? K.P.: Because in the Montessori method the essence of education should be the attempts of a grown up to provide the suitable environment for the child, in order to aid the development of the child. The teacher in a todays world should provide a safe environment for a child. He should not be a person that lets out all of his negative emotions on the child.
He should be a mentor, but such a mentor that he only aids the child, if the child encounters certain problems. He shouldnt be the person who bosses the child around, he is a person who provides guidelines for the childs harmonized development. I believe that it is very important. S.: That is definitely so. From some research that I have done, I know that a Montessori classroom is a special place. K.P.: I think a classroom must be a happy place children learning things that interest them.
I think children learn more easily from one another than from an adult because they seem to have a very good communicative way. A Montessori classroom is a well prepared environment! S.: What in your opinion is the trick for the children to understand what is it exactly you want from them? K.P.: You have to be able to convey your ideas in such a manner that all of the children in the class will understand you. You have to be a strong believer of you ideas in the first place.
Children with Paid Work
Nowadays, more and more children work for money. To some extent, paid work can help children to learn, to take responsibilities and have some extra money. However, it is also controversial to discuss whether or not children should get involved in money pursuit. To my mind, this really has some advantages and disadvantages. Paid work can bring children some income. Children are supposed to get ...
You just have to feel the children. S.: Not to take any more of your time, because I know that you have to run to your class. What do you think is the biggest rewards, that a teacher can get? K.P.: I believe that a teacher shapes the childs understanding of the world. Thus, the biggest reward in my opinion is the knowledge of the fact that you are a good teacher. That moment is bliss to any teacher.
S.: Thank you, very much. K.P.: You are more than welcome. Come again, if you have any questions concerning the Montessori education..
