He is the original creator of the plan to make the windmill, however before he could establish his windmill plan he was exiled by Napoleon. Boxer – Boxer represents the working class.
He does a lot of works to profit Napoleon and supposedly the farm. He is a dedicated worker that believes that after he completes all of his work and does what the government tells him then it will benefit the rest of the farm. Napoleon takes advantage of Boxer’s strong belief in Animalism and is used then sold to a slaughter at the end. He Is represented as a horse.

Jones – Jones was the ruler of Manor Farm before it was changed to Animal Farm before is was changed back to Manor Farm. He represents Capitalism and a high class that tells the working class what to do. He is also a king. Old Major tells the Animals that a revolution must occur so all the animals expel Jones from his very own farm. 6. Old Major – He creates the ideal of “animalism.’ This idea means that all animals are equal and share work and responsibilty and profit.
His idea also states that humans are the root of evil. The irony of the whole matter is that Old Major was a show pig, which meant he was treated very well by the humans. Short Summary of Plot – The animals are oppressed by their ruler Mr. Jones. So they create a revolution that was formulated by the pig Old Major and overthrow the human. Then, the pigs establish a socialist party, and there are two main pigs, snowball and Napoleon.
The humans try to attack two times. Snowball has an idea to make a windmill and Napoleon seems to disagree, in his anger he calls his dogs on him. Then Napoleon takes in Snowball’s plan and over a course of many years and many distractions, the animals create the windmill. During the construction of the Windmill Napoleon had contact with humans and after he had Industrialized the farm and had made the animals work their hardest with little food and lots of work, he uses the windmill to show the humans his greatness. At the end Napoleon “becomes’ a human and the animals watch and are confused that “animalism’ had failed because of the pig’s thirst for greed and selfishness.
