Book review. SINBAD.
The story started with a whisper. The huge gigantic female appeared. She was Eris, the goddess of chaos and strife. She was also the custodian of the entire universe. She sat and saw earth by holding it in her hands. She saw few ships sailing in the sea and sent a huge and enormous creature named Cetus in the sea to disturb the travelers. Sinbad was sailing in the sea. He wanted to take the book of peace traveling to Syracuse on the ship next to his own ship. He had a faithful dog called Spike. He alarmed his crew of Chimera that they would attack the ship and take the book of peace. He got on to that ship and a fight began between the two rivals. He saw a man fighting like a lady. He thought that he had seen him anywhere. After sometime he was able to make a good guess. He was his childhood friend, Porteus. They were very happy to see each other on board. Porteus took him to a chamber where the sacred book was placed. He told that it was the book given to each city of Syracuse by gods and goddesses. The changes it place after every hundred years. Suddenly they heard a sound. They rushed outside the chamber. They were stunned to see a huge and gigantic creature with huge tentacles and a collar shaped head.
This was Cetus sent by Eris. Sinbad killed Cetus with his own skills and intelligence which impressed Porteus. Sinbad was drowned in the sea along by the tentacles of Cetus. He met Eris under there. Eris promised him to make the richest man on earth if he brought the book of peace to her. Sinbad went to Syracuse with Porteus. There he met with the King Dymas, father of Porteus and Marina, fiancée of Porteus. There was a great feast in the ballroom. Meanwhile in the high tower overlooking the city, a lone guard patrolled he sacred chamber. The music of celebration played in the ballroom could be heard faintly. There was a tiny sound, and a shadow crossed the room which blew out a nearby lamp. The suspicious guard approached. He sheathed his sword and looked down at the magical golden light that shone from the book. When the two other lamps extinguished, spooked guard spun around and drawed his sword. Eris slithered to the far side of a marble column. She blew on her hands and a smoky mask of a face appeared. It was Sinbad. She pulled the mask over her own face—-and became Sinbad. The shadowy figure of Sinbad stepped out from behind the pillar as the guard turned and saw him.
