The mission is the reason for being of every business, it is the determination of the basic functions that will play in a given environment to achieve their goal. The mission defines the need to satisfy customers, achieve to achieve, products and services to offer. The characteristics required of a mission should be broad, concrete, motivating and feasible. With a mission to know the business in which the company is engaged, and to where we can aim in towards in future activities, therefore it must also go hand in hand with the vision and values. Vision refers to what the company wants to create, the future image of the organization. The vision is done by formulating an ideal image of the project and put it in writing, so to create the dream (shared by all who take part in the initiative).
Once you have defined the vision of the company, all actions are fixed at this point and the decisions and doubts are clarified more easily. Any member who knows the vision of the company can make decisions in line with said vision. The importance of vision is that it is a source of inspiration for the business, represents the essence that drives the initiative; it helps define the identity of the business.
Values are those ethical judgments about real or imaginary situations to which we are more inclined. Values in a company are the most important pillars of any organization. At the same time we must continue to innovate on food and healthy alternatives to remain a viable alternative, easy and fun for Puerto Rican consumers and in order to further expand its market to other Latino communities.
